Woodrow Wilson
Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president. He was born on December 28, 1856 in Staunton, Virginia. He witnessed the horrors of the Civil War up close as one of his brothers went to the cause and his mother nursed wounded soldiers. Wilson saw WW1 break out and Wilson declared America neutral. After WW1 and leaving office in 1921 Woodrow Wilson died on February 3, 1924 at the age of 67 in northwest DC. He is now buried in the Washington National Cathedral.
